Light Oxidation 2-Step Process – For boats 3-6 years old:
- Boat washed with pressure washer
- Boat washed with Pre-Soak and hand scrubbed
- Dried
- Machine-applied light compound
- Machine-applied cleaner wax
- Windows cleaned

Medium Oxidation 3-Step Process – For boats up to 10 years old:
- Boat washed with pressure washer
- Boat washed with Pre-Soak and hand scrubbed
- Dried
- Machine-applied heavy compound
- Machine-applied light compound
- Machine-applied cleaner wax
- Windows cleaned

Wet Sanding: Heavy Oxidation
Some Gel Coat Oxidation requires wet sanding
- Wet sanding requires Package # 3 to restore finish
Some oxidations on gel coats cannot be restored with standard methods, particularly when the oxidation has penetrated too deeply into the gel coat, which often requires more aggressive techniques like WET SANDING to restore the surface. If left untreated for too long, deep oxidation can become irreversible.
Factors the cause oxidized gel coats: UV Exposure, environmental contaminants, poor maintenance, abrasive cleaning methods, and weather fluctuations.
